Industrial Fabricators, Inc. was opened in 1993 in Chattanooga, TN by Williams Enterprises of Georgia. Headquartered in Smyrna, GA, Williams Enterprises of Georgia had been in both the structural and miscellaneous steel erection industry throughout the Southeast for decades when management decided to expand into the fabrication business. After purchasing a facility in Chattanooga, Industrial Fabricators began fabricating miscellaneous metals as a supplemental service sister company Atlanta Steel Erector’s miscellaneous erection work.

Industrial Fabricators, Inc., continues to fabricate miscellaneous metals out of this Chattanooga, TN facility to this day. Our customer base has expanded over the years to include some of the largest steel fabricators in the industry, and our work can be seen around the country. IFI is an AISC Member and Certified Fabricator, and has certifications from the American Welding Society and the Canadian Welding Bureau.
